Kas' Skyhawk (aka "Hawk") 2002 Chestnut Sabino Gelding 14.3 hh US Reg. # 172088 - Can. # 13266 (Sleepys Field Hawk x Sleepys Select Rose)

Hawk is a beautiful, athletic chestnut gelding with a small star and a hint of mischief in his makeup. He makes me laugh, he is such a clown. Hawk has been started under saddle. He has lots of energy and spirit, but a kind and willing nature. He needs constant variety as he has a strong play drive. I have started Parelli Natural-Horse-Man-Ship with Hawk and he is doing surprisingly well. Every spring Hawk sheds out with more and more of white hairs (roaning) throughout his flanks. It will certainly be interesting to see what color he finally will turn out to be?? Will he look like his mother, Sleepys Select Rose? |
